Attorney - CEO/Founder

Cape Fear Debt Relief was founded by attorney Richard P. Cook. After completing his undergraduate and law school degrees at UNC-Chapel Hill, Richard worked as an attorney in Winston-Salem representing the banks and collection agencies. He returned to Wilmington in 2010 to help people in the Cape Fear Region recover from the economic hardships facing them today. Richard has been Certified by the NC State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy Law.

His purpose in founding Cape Fear Debt Relief was to help provide individual attention to clients, while aggressively representing their interests in the Bankruptcy and State Courts. At Cape Fear Debt Relief, we seek to maximize the relief you can obtain through the Courts by taking the time to carefully analyze all of the facts and details of your case.

In your free consultation, you will speak with an attorney to discuss your financial situation in great detail. We will take as much time as needed and you will receive a complete review of your financial situation and leave with an understanding of your options and the costs of each one.

As a client of Cape Fear Debt Relief, you will deal with an attorney at every step of your case. All of your concerns will be addressed in a timely fashion. We will guide you through the Bankruptcy process and help you to understand all of the intricacies of your case.

At Cape Fear Debt Relief, we will work tirelessly for you to make sure you obtain the debt relief you seek, and to help restore your peace of mind.
